Ncerha Village, East London – The Sindile Stemele Foundation has made a heartfelt contribution to the community of Ncerha Village by providing a much-needed food parcel to a sick elderly woman in the area. The event took place at KwaMaxhentsa Community in Ncerha Village, with various stakeholders coming together to show support and solidarity with the elderly woman, Miss Nokuzola Zinzile, who has been facing significant health challenges.
The handover of the food parcel was made possible by a collaborative effort involving multiple organizations committed to improving the well-being of the local community. The stakeholders present at the event included the Kidds Beach Police (Victim Friendly Room Centre), the Community Policing Forum, Icamagu Community Media Projects, Small Projects Foundation, and the Imidushane Traditional Council.
The handover event also saw the attendance of local leaders, including Ward Councillor Mr. Bonisile Bangani, who delivered an opening speech. In his address, Councillor Bangani expressed his gratitude to the Sindile Stemele Foundation for their continued dedication to supporting those in need within the community. “This is a noble act of kindness,” he said, “and we are truly grateful to the foundation for its generosity and for making a positive impact on the lives of the elderly in our village.”
The foundation’s gesture was met with immense appreciation from Miss Zinzile, she expressed her deep gratitude. “I am overwhelmed by this kindness,” she said. “In these difficult times, it is not easy to receive help, but today I feel blessed. This food parcel will go a long way in helping me and my family.”
